alhambramexuar022 / The Hall of the Mexuar, one of the oldest structures in the Alhambra complex (ca. 1330 AD) has walls decorated with glossy, painted tiles down their lower half. Structural elements above are covered by finely shaped stucco carved in a fine, repeating Arabesque style which gives them a fractal look, Mexuar Palace Complex, Alhambra, Granada, Andalucia, Spain.
